We are a friendly and professional five-star licensed riding school and livery yard situated near the village of Westerleigh, Bristol.
About Us
Wapley Riding School Ltd is run by Lucy Hewlett who is a BHS II Qualified instructor and assisted by many experienced grooms and instructors.
We teach riders of all levels from complete beginners to experienced riders from four years of age upwards.
We have a vast selection of ponies and horses to suit your individual needs.
Our excellent facilities include:
Two Floodlit outdoor arenas
A small cross country course
A variety of show jumps

I wanted to write and say what a fantastic lesson I had today. The instructor was clearly so knowledgeable, whilst being kind and patient. I learnt so much in one hour and I feel more confident that my 'electric bum' is not the problem I thought it might be! 'A brilliant first experience'
My daughter has her first experience of riding at age today. We are all rider so keen for her to have a positive experience and Wapley Stables definitely delivered that. She was smiling the entire time. The instructor was calm and knowledgeable and her pony was patient and well managed. A brilliant first experience. Our girl said "Can I do this every day!?" afterwards. Highly recommend.
